I'm no PC engineer, Ill admit that, but this shouldn't be an extreme task for a regular guy, I mean, they're selling these upgrade kits like the one I bought all over. I have a couple of leftover wires, but one is for the front audio board that I don't use and such. But Windows will not start with the old HD and I only get error message trying to install to the new one. Wondering if anyone can help me a little here:

-I'm guessing there are some obvious mistakes that are usual for this sort of manuever, where do I start searching when it seems the Motherboard isn't working with my HD's?

-The new MB has Intel 6gb, Intel 3gb and Marvell 6gb ports for slotting the HD, the new one is a Intel 6gb alright, but where do I slot the old HD? And does it really matter?

Yes, slightly later than normal. We'll start earlier if everyone is here, but Friday's are usually a little fraught on timing for me. Also, yes, T2 for two days. I want to get to Kalbak, at the very least, so we're going to have some concentrated practice. Instead of having a week or two to forget things, I'd like to have a solid team for both days, and whatever we do on Friday will be done more smoothly on Sunday. Got that? ;)

Please make sure you know which day & tier you're signing up for!! There are multiple threads open for the same raid these days, so double check the dates & tier please. Remember that you need to have found the gate to be able to get in via the Instance Join panel with whatever alts you wish to take! That's the preamble. Whilst none of Raid Leaders have ever deliberately excluded new or... From time to time, the Alliance may run raids labelled as Training Raids. Whilst none of Raid Leaders have ever deliberately excluded new or inexperienced folk, the general rule of thumb for all of us is that we prefer not to have more than a couple at a time on a raid if there are choices available i.e. more than 12 sign-ups. More than that has the potential to disrupt things too much; the RL's concentration particularly!

The point of the Training Raids isn't that you can't go on the regular raids until you've done one. They get created when we've an influx of people new to the Alliance and / or new to the raid in question. The point of them is to deliberately favour selection of the newer people and, if our more experienced players sign up, it's in the full knowledge that the emphasis is on fun, rather than success.

So please don't ignore a raid on the basis of whether or not it's labelled as "Training". For experienced folk, they can be lots of fun, because strange things can happen! For inexperienced people, never do not sign up to a "regular" raid because you think you're not up it. Sign up, say you haven't been. It's then the RL's choice as to whether they take you.
