Considering yesterday a smashing success it will have to be repeated. But this time we will do the full five runs. Each run takes about 20-30 minutes so at most I expect sign-ups to be available for 2½ hours. I cannot promise that all your alts can go nor that I can fulfill any and all preferences on classes, however, the sooner people sign up the sooner I can start the massive puzzle and the better the change of getting in.

Please sign up with forum name, how many times you can go and with what classes aswell as if you want to roll for one specific class on all runs.

I expect all alts to be ready, repaired, stocked on food and traited when we go live. Between runs I will be calling out the next raid and I expect you to put your forum name in the RRU chat when putting in an X for an invite.

Loot-rule:

We loot in this order:
First Age items.
Armour Coins.
Second Age items.
A generic roll for the remaining loot (Nimrodels, setting, IXP etc).
If you win you will not roll on subsequent rolls. You are welcome to pass on 1.-3. and then that loot will be in the greater stash rolled on at 4.

I know some prefer LI to certain level 60 alts, so you are welcome to designate which class you will be rolling for on all the runs, but then it will be that class' items you will roll on only (and not the current character's). Unless noted otherwise in the signup I will expect people to be rolling on their current class at all times.

Important!

Please check that I have your info correct.
I expect the runs to take approx. 20-30 minutes. Please be ready in time, and have your alts ready and traited as best you can.
Please join the TS from the first raid regardless on when you are in - we might save time on pre-raid coordination that way.
We will never have the old raid invite the people of the next raid (to avoid lock contagion), so I ask the captains either to be parked at Filikul or to let me summon you there before the first raid.
There was a few alts 'extras' so here is your challenge: to try to break the mold on a 6th raid! Otherwise I might ask for your help, in case someone is missing earlier on (though you are probably already in those runs on alts!).

I can get my captain at the entrance for summoning needs. Can do 3 runs (LM, cap, minstrel, if a spot remains open I could bring my seriously under equiped burglar)

Tiermond
27 Aug 2009, 08:42
Noti of course you should bring your burglar, in fact everyone should bring their burglars so we can do an all burglar run.

What level is your hunter Gilglori?

Hirion

That could be great fun. However, as it is, we 'only' have 9 burglar signups and I would rather spread them out, so each raid at least gets one burglar to increase the damage done on the turtle, rather than risk 4 raids to make one of them more fun.

Also Notiane, I will be either asking captains from the different runs to make it to Filikul in advance or be summoned there by me before the first run. We do not want anyone from an old raid in a raid with someone coming in for the next - last time that cost us a raid and we don't want that to happen. Alas I will either ask captains to be parked there in advance or to run there while sitting out on a raid.

Gorli
27 Aug 2009, 10:23
NIce. Seems that we have exactly 60 signups so far, enough for 5 raids :)

Nu you will have a big puzzle to solve Hirion :P

Hirion
27 Aug 2009, 10:35
You are mistaken. We have 61 alts signed up. But keep the signups coming - more will make it easier to make the individual raids viable, rather than risk wipes, and of course, should enough people signup I'll leave open the option of a 6th raid....

And I have a secret weapon for the puzzle - Anaeth and I have been putting together an elaborate excell syntax for the task.

Gilglori
27 Aug 2009, 15:49
What level is your hunter Gilglori?

He is 47 but by the time we do the run probably 52 and then 60 a week later so i'd rather roll for him IF there is something it means i'm not rolling for other classes so I don't see a problem.

Rhye
27 Aug 2009, 16:11
Bah. Here's me checking pretty much every day and thinking this one was from last Monday...

Anyway, would love to bring Beth Cpt and Rhye Brg (and Apricot Mns if needed+room) - same as last.

It's alright Gilglori. At least for the Filikuls (where I only let people roll for on class, unlike the Watcher where people sign up for a secondary class too) and because I trust he is moving into the end content.

The raid(s) is up!

27 people and 66+ alts involved! Looking forward to seeing you all for another patch of Filikul Monday Madness. Please be on time and do not let us down - you have no idea what it would do to this house of cards, so keep in mind how many people will be held up if not fit for fight on time (say I knowing I'll be running right in from work).

Also a huge cheers to Anaeth for his efforts in easing my work organising the logistics of this operation, by having worked tirelessly at my whim perfecting a spreadsheet for this task.

Gorli

Exited for tonights runs :)

I hope we can do the 6th run too. I will try and get more from kin if needed to fill up the raid so if you have alts there, come prepared.

Me too! On both accounts.

There were many reasons, for how things ended up, but I do hope that it fits so that you can do a 6th. That would be really cool in itself. Also it was nice this time to have more people/alts than was needed, even after a few people cancelled their sign up. It meant I did not have to ask various friends to step in to fill our ranks and it made it easier to make the individual raids more viable.

Hirion
31 Aug 2009, 08:31
Welcome back Rufus. I've already added you to the 6th run - a potential run only so far, but the run to end all runs (my ambition was never more than 5, so yaya!). I think a guardian or lore-master might be needed the most, but I added all your classes to be able to adjust if/when more join.

Thank you Gilglori - I actually don't. ;)

Raedwulf
31 Aug 2009, 08:32
Exited? Or excited? ;)

Hirion - a 6th run will be too late for me. Particularly since I'm not involved in 4 or 5, you'd best delete me from the roster.

My captain will be waiting at the entrance, (ready to summon the 4th raid) Shoukd we get the 6th raid running, I need some (burglar) trait advice.

Hirion
31 Aug 2009, 11:36
I would primariy suggest traiting the skills Reveal Weakness and Counter-Defence, and if possible also take the Mischief-maker capstone skill to use Quite a Snag as often as poosible. All of these skills will add to the total output of damage from the fellowship. If you dont have the capstone skill I might only use the above-mentioned two yellows and make the rest blue (for gambles) or red (for damage).

Milgarion
31 Aug 2009, 17:23
Milgarion (CHN) or Oldwine (CPT) available for 6th raid. Others are reserved for kin runs on Tuesday.

Derigar/Tarinas
31 Aug 2009, 17:48
Pretty much confirming with Hirion said about burglars, with one or two points on the traitlines themselves. While i'm a huge fan of the gambler line in general, this fight is one that benefits more from the other lines. If you have the MM capstone trait, then the yellow line is definately viable for increasing group damage, although would also hugely recommend you have the small snag legacy too. If you don't have the capstone, then go 4 deep in the red line for the positional bonus and make sure you spend the fight staring at his tail ;)

Hirion
31 Aug 2009, 18:02
Also - traiting Provoke can be an idea if going down the red trait line. Normally I would not pick it among the red traits, but with all the bouncing of agro, all the while having a lot of people on the turtle, provoke has a tole to play (and even when not shifting targets it is a way to let the hunter let loose in Strenght too), however as we have two burglars in each raid, and since I'll have them both use provoke, triating for it might be less important.

And Milgarion added to the elusive 6th run.

Raukothaurondir

Hirion
31 Aug 2009, 23:11
Managed five runs in 2hrs 30min on the dot. That is entirely on time, but I know we can do it a little faster - and reduce the waiting. Also on the plus side is that we had no lock contamination and the raids also seemed much smoother than last. Part of it due to more signups = better balance; but also due to us doing better. In a way I should feel it a small crack in the overall Monday Madness that we had so many defeats on the 5th run, but I feel quite opposite - it was possibly the most thrilling of all the fights and turning that around was a great victory.

Thank you all for making this possible - and for making it so relatively smooth to steer.

Expect to hear from me again.... and when you do:

Show up if you sign up! Part of the 6th raid collapsing was due to two people/three alts not showing up. It's a delicate house of cards.
Sign up early - the more I get early on the better the chance for us to break that 6th mold, which in the end will allow for more people to get a run done on a given character. The earlier I can see the possibility of a 6th run the better the chances I'll involve it in the greater planning.
Also I will be asking you to put loot preferences in the signups only - having 30+ people and 60-72 alts involved it's not fair on me bombarding me with tells when you could simply have done it in the signup as requested. My head is already spinning enough during this marathon run.

I've now had a chat with Sebbi. His computer crashed and he is now working frantically to get it working again - hopefully we will see him again soon.

No word from Javfrid however on why he didnt show up...
