I'm stepping up to the plate on this one. Sorry Bothorn, no hard feelings. I'm sick of not getting that bastard squid down. I want Watcher 2.0 dead at my feet.

I want everyone in Rivendell 19.15 BST. We have a hope buff (Chain Link) which we'll pop no later then 19.30. If you're late, you forfeit your roll on loot.

Important information There will be no first come, first serve principal this time. We're failing because people aren't paying attention, so I'm taking folk in I know will not disappoint me or anyone else in the raid. I will make a selection of players an hour or two before the raid.
Lock up your wife and kids. We're going in for the kill, don't let them disturb you ;)
Come prepared. Bring food, snacks and soup, hope tokens, scrolls if you have them and anything else that applies to your class. Have a stack of 30 min tokens on you, some Tea and preferably some Lamb and Mushroom soup to increase poison resistance.
If you are unable to craft tokens or food yourself, let us know in advance. Not before the raid, but at the latest Friday evening. We'll make you something at the cost-price. There's plenty of cooks and jewelers in RRU!

I really really really want to come! My halberd have had Squid written all over it for ages by now - and I don't want to go home having to re-ingrave it with a 'Frogmorton Toad'.

I have no plans for Saturday as of yet, but sadly I am on call and I cannot lock up my beeper (at least I would get in serious trouble should I). Chances are I'll end up sitting at home playing lotro stabbing my eyes out when I will read in the RRU chat that you have downed that Watcher... unless you should decide to risk the chances that your captain might bolt mid-action....

If you don't have a Cook of Jeweler that can prepare those, please let us know, we have plenty of characters in those professions and I'm sure it can be arranged to prepare some for you. Probably for some reimbursement for the ingredients, but you will not get ripped off here in R'r'U.

I sure hope so..but he said he wanted to take people he could trust to finally get him down...

It's just that I've never done the Watcher fight before and on a more or less 'desperate' attempt to finally take him down before he gets easymode in B8, it might not be so wise to take someone that has never even been inside the instance and has not done much raiding with you yet..:)

Are Hunters still so important in this fight? We were in B6 because of our OP'ness I think, but that must've changed atleast a bit, right? :p

Anyway, I'll be online saturday and if you need me just ask for me in the RRU channel, I'll keep the evening free for you :D

Trust me, if you've never done it, you won't think the 3.0 version as easy mode. It's nowhere near as easy as the original 1.0 version. The only changes are some timers made a bit less harsh on the players.
