Lethrian. Primary - champ; secondary - minstrel. Shoulder roll. Can come with my minstrel as well (6/6 gear) but really prefer my champ.

Update - new graphic card on order (OcUK 275GTX), should arrive tomorrow, hopefully resulting in a stable system! Well, barring crashes caused by the X-Fi, anyway...

Update...

Just found out that I have to take my daughter somewhere and won't be back until 7.45

So I'll have to withdraw although I'll go online as soon as I get home in case you need a pick up for future runs

Pleased to report that, apart from freezes that seem to be part & parcel of my motherboard, I had no video driver crashes in 2 hrs or so last night. Hopefully, I now have a slightly more stable system...

Is it possible to roll for the Pool as secondary? :P
I don't feel a need to deprive anyone from a bow they'd use and I wont, but the pool... I want it very much less than Nanu, but still a lot ;)

My captain is available and ready to help should you need him. I know you are full, but I will be online the entire evening grinding crafting instances on one of my two chars. So if you're in need, give me a sign.

tuned in yesterday...
still no luck of beating him?!
...gladly watcher 3.0 (tm) is coming soon;p

Raedwulf
06 Jun 2009, 12:53
Not really. Watcher 3 is a nerf. We beat Watcher 1.0. I'd like to beat Watcher 2.0.

calabam
06 Jun 2009, 18:30
yeah no win over 2.0 = a fail for me :(

A word of advice in getting 2.0 down: ditch the 2nd LM and WDN; get another Hunter and Runekeeper in. If you guys want more info Rhy knows where to find me... Good luck on doing this!

Lots of groups use the same classes we do and do it , that currently isnt the problem .

Grimdoin
08 Jun 2009, 14:23
Hmmm well, what is the problem currently then? Just like with 1.0 it could just be a little tweak needed to get it going for you guys too!

[edit]
And I don't think "lots of groups" currently do 2.0, do they?

Player error and a little bad luck are the current problems plus we still havent really run 2.0 that many times to be honest , but things are improving hopefullywell down him before hes nerferd

I think that concerning our last run it was nothing but a question of marginals and we would have downed him. A small gap between success and failure that mainly should and could be closed through practice. This is not saying that the 12 players there couldn't make it, but that it takes time both to hitch on to how to do a given raid - but that it certainly also does so getting in sync as a team. I like our open way of organising raids, a lot, but with a few people turned over at each raid, it is a bit more challenging getting it exactly right. As for the run last Friday - if it had not be late and people not tired I am certain that team could have taken down the Watcher in time.

This is not about not appreciating your advice - the main point just being that I firmly believe that we can take it down with that combination of classes; and that our main obstacle is about practice and coordination - for now.

Grimdoin
08 Jun 2009, 22:53
No worries... I just happened to run across Rhy in 21st last weekend and wondered how you guys were doing. And yes it takes practice and coordination and the line between success and failure is extremely thin with 2.0. Good luck on your next attempt!

Raedwulf
09 Jun 2009, 10:50
Can you run him over next time? ;)

Grimdoin
09 Jun 2009, 11:30
Too bad my legs are a tiny bit too short to catch up on him

Talking about small folk; did you know that turning of Post Processing Effects in Advanced Graphics helps people position correctly on the bridge during stage 3 in the VM? Esp. handy if you are swimming around there all the time instead of being able to stand on the ground normally :+

Hirion
09 Jun 2009, 11:59
Yes, and those who didn't will know as we enter, as it is a standard procedure to remind all to shut it off before we start out. Then again some of us, me included, have to run raids at low graphix to keep their pc breathing, which also takes care of bridge visibility.

I did tell ppl this every time altho if they actully did it or not is another thing.
