I know that I'm not the Raid Leader for either of these but I thought by posting this I'd encourage some attendance.....

I'm limited on Raid time atm so I'd like to try and get some Turtle and Watcher action on Thursday....

We are unlikely to have Hope buff so I think 6/6 pieces is essential

Sign up below if this is of any interest....although if a proper Raid leader turns up out of the mist I shall pass over the torch with alacrity!!

PS - ...that's 8pm sharp...at Filikul ready to start please!!

PPS - Consensus is that we will do Turtle (hopefully) and then decide what to do next...maybe Rift or Hele and even better if someone manages to pick up locks!)

Also I agree with raed (yep I do) watcher is pointless without a hope buff alas i was waitin for rhy to come back with his chain link since not many folk are keen to aquire these buffs lately.

Damn. Hal, I've been so preoccupied with my exams that I blew a fuse when I signed up for tonight. I am home and available, but I'm also on call, so there is the risk of having to go. I'm sorry for the late notice, but I forgot that I would be on call (though my pager did remind me a few hours ago:roll:).

Anyways - I understand if you'd rather bring someone else. If not, I'll still be happy to join with either hunter, minstrel, burglar or captain in Filikul (or all of them).

yes we had a go a sum rift action , but i am not blaming RRU rad ... the thread suggested there was gona be a turtle run then something else not another turtle run and am sorry but if thats the way ever simple question is goin to be answered then am sorry i dont want to be a part of a group of people who cant even ask questions and seek answers without general bull from folk , its seems some folk cant be bothered raiding in a raid group , sure there are few new raids but if we want watcher hope bufs we need to go with what we got . I always am willing and ready ( and willing to listen),to the best of my knowledge when i can and try to turn up for the raids that are being run am sorry i havent ran them as many times as some here but the simple fact is old raids need to be run for the only real new raid we got and if i am expecting to much from that then i will leave you guys to it .

think the point calabams trying to make is , the watcher raid needs hope buff , therefor when we are at the doors to the balrog room , we should mabye decide to spend 10 minutes killing him , then do it again tommoro with a alt who has the lock , seems a shame to do the whole instance everytime

this would help tofold as we would have more time trying to kill the watcher , and mabye give us the chance to try a mid week one , for people who cant make a fri/sat/sun

in the end it was a poor show from those who couldnt be botherd finnishing the job

The decision to do 2 Turtle runs was my fault and I took the choice/gave the option because I was inspired by our quick and successful first run..but also pissed at the lack of loot....so I thought another run would at least get us some payback there....My fault and as Raid Leader and organiser my decision....right for some folk, wrong for others.

I also feel that my leaving on Balrogs doorstep initially may have caused the subsequent exodus....not much that I could do about that my end, however I'm sorry if that then caused a general "laissez fair" in the group.

I don't think anyone should quit over this but i do agree that we ought to formalise our hope getting options. The good news is that we now have a group (that could be mixed up) to get 1 or 2 hope buffs over the weekend....

My point is simply that there aren't any raids in the game at the moment & that there isn't much we can do about it. I don't regard the watcher or the turtle as raids (they're just 12 man instances), and I personally find Hele & The Rift a fairly tedious trawl these days - done them too many times & L50 raids are not what I regard as fun when the average level of the group is practically 60. I know we need to do them for the hope buff, just don't expect me to display too much enthusiasm!

As to last night, my apologies, but I was more tired than drunk - we took so long getting going on Thrang, I simply fell asleep!

Hal thanks for organising last nights raid just got a bit pissed of with all the waiting around for folk to relog different alts etc only to then after all that not get to fight the roggy :oops: i have only been part of a few of your raids but you seem to still have good enthusiasm for rold raids which is refreshing for a player like maself .

We still have the lock so we should finish it at some point, was 3days so tonight or tomorrow would be good, this whole raid situation is killing me, I dont like the whole dread for difficulty aspect they seem to be throwing at us. We did it last night. Which isn't to say that people wouldn't be willing to have another crack with alts. It was an adhoc job, so keep an eye on the RRU channel & you may find a call going out again.
