As we all know, the hope buff given by the chain link is a really big help in our new nemisis fight, the Watcher, and since we have a large base of rather experienced rift-raiders, we should not have too much trouble getting ourselves one at least once a week.
I wouldn't mind investing one or two evening a week for this, although I would suggest going only with the experienced group, less explanation makes quiker runs. Anyone else?

A return to the rift would be fun and as most of us have multiple alts lvl 50+, once we get a balrog lock could easily do 2 or 3 chain links an evening and store them up for future raids.

One one hand I agree that only experienced rift raiders would make for a faster run, on the other I think it's too limiting for fresh members who might want to try Rift themselves.
If we allow 1-2 freshies a run it shouldn't be too affecting, providing that they are absolutely required to read the guide (if they don't, penalties might have to be introduced, like baking cakes for the whole raid or paying repair bills, or not being able to roll on any Rift stuff). This would still make explanations very brief and runs quick.
I really don't want to make Rift unreachable for new people, it's FUN, way more than the Watcher is..!

You volunteering to lead then, Noti? Better get that microphone sorted out... ;) If I'm around, I don't mind giving a hand; equally I'm happy to give way to someone that really wants to do it, new or otherwise.
