Crafting Instances and Lothlorien Bartering

Crafting Instances
Spread around Moria, there are 6 crafting instances. These are grouped in pairs of 2 per gathering profession. These instances are a good way to get a hold of so-called , plus a good deal of . These instances can be done once every 24 hours, and will each net you 3 tokens. That's 18 tokens per day, for those with lesser mathematical talents.

These crafting instances have a reset timer, just like any other instance. They reset twice a week. Yes, I know I said you can do them daily. You can, but the nodes respawn twice a week for you. Nodes will despawn after you complete the instance, so make sure you have them all.

Per instance, there are 3 quests. These can be devided into "Kill X enemies", "Kill boss" and "Gather X supplies". Each of these quests reward you one Token. The enemies do differ every time you enter, so you might face Orcs the one day, Gredbyg the next.

The kill quests in those instances provide you with Iron Garrison Guards reputation, the gathering increases your fame among the Miners. Enemies inside do not give reputation.

Iron Garrison Resource Tokens
So, what's with these tokens? They're barter items that can be bartered for yet more barter items to barter with the barters in Lothlorien. Confuzzeled yet? It's fairly simple.

Lothlorien Elves do not trade for coin, but for [Lothlorien Gold Leaf] and [Lothlorien Silver Branch]. The repeatable quests will earn you plenty of the latter, but the Leafs are harder to get. Think of it as the Annuminas barter items.

The Resource Tokens are a way to obtain these magnificent leaves. Every 3 Tokens will get you one Leaf. Again, for those with a math handicap, that's 6 Gold Leaves.

Other than those Gold Leaves (which are a recommended barter), you can get various items in exchange for these Tokens. The various Item Experience Runes are self explanatory I think. There's one item worth mentioning: the Sturdy Iron Key. It will unlock resource boxes, but there are reports of this being very little compared to the items you can obtain otherwise.

Lothlorien Barters

The image to the right shows the quests which will earn you those Silver Branches. All repeatable, and will net you 31 Silver Branches every 24 hours.

The non-repeatable quests in Lothlorien will earn you somewhere between 70 and 85 Silver Branches. Quests inside Caras Galadhon will earn you 16 Gold Leaves, but these are not repeatable.

Rewards
There are several rewards, ranging from horses to jewelry to boxes with the potential of legendary weapons, or epically failing that; a tier 4 relic.

Do you know if the Legendary gift boxes only drop 3rd age stuff (if so what's the point!!) or have I missed the point?

Also the jewelry refers to "on use" skills on other jewelry (and idea on stats or how you get these other ones?

They have a good chance of dropping 2nd age items, a small chance at 1st age. Some bug also causes them to drop 15k IXP runes or T4 relics, which is really crap.

Also the jewelry refers to "on use" skills on other jewelry (and idea on stats or how you get these other ones?
There's 10 pieces posted here. 5 of them have an on use, but they will only be useable if you have the other one of the set (which are also in the screenies :P)

Yeah, be careful with the boxes as right now they are a serious gamble as Rhy said, while on Bullroarer i think everyone found 2nd age items, but as soon as it went live in the US, reports of 15k runes and single tier 4 relics started emerging, with dev's saying they'll look at it, but not confirming it isn't working as intended.

For some perspective, if you turn in the 6 quests daily (assuming you are immune to bordem and are masochistic ;)) you'll either have the choice of 1.33 million IXP guarenteed, or potentially a shot at a single 25k rune.

Ive tried that legendary class box once.. and I will never do it again.

My "legendary" reward was a whooping 22500 exp rune. I wont gamble twice on it.

Rhy,

If you could make a correction in the guide regarding locks.
Seems after the update you can do the instance again 1 hour after completion.
At least that is available for the instance near 21'st hall.
