Side note:-
The primary and secondary class thing applies to legendary weapons/items, it's nothing to do with if it's a weapon or a book ect, the primary class you choose is who you will roll for if an item drops for that chosen class, the secondary only applies if for example a Wardens spear drops and nobody has chosen warden as there primary roll it would fall on those that have picked warden as a secondary, if theres no Primary or secondary rollers for it i'll ninja it :) nah most likely I will try to determine a good home for it within the raid, remember tho any alt's you nominate can be no less than 1 lvl below the item's required and it's 1 per person!

Ang primarily, but subject to change. If we manage to 6-man Sid before-hand, Raed is now fully radianced.

Evelynn reporting - primary captain, secondary hunter.

Notiane reporting in. Lore master obviously, and the second choice is for the item, am I right? Well I have been enjoying my captain a lot recently (so the would be my 2nd) but really just intrested in kicking the squid as Noti (by nature)

Clarification: The primary & secondary nominations you are being asked to make are for the 1st Age weapon / class drop which is not bind on acquire, NOT the coin drop which is BoA. Your nominations must be within one level of being able to use the item i.e. if a L60 item drops, your nomination must be at least L59; if you nominate a L58 alt, you're taking a chance on a L59 item dropping - you would not be allowed a roll on a L60 item.

Your secondary roll only comes into play if there is no primary roller for that class. And if you only have one alt high enough (e.g. Notiane), then sorry, you will not be able to nominate a secondary roll at all!

Grammur - you can't sign up to an RRU raid without first having applied for RRU membership, y'know! Please pop into the Application forum & tell us a bit about yourself. ;)

Still looking for another mins and 2 dps types, pref hunters.

Rhyaehar
30 Mar 2009, 09:37
Sil and I can go, though we prefer our WRD/RK. If we go on hunters, we'll probably switch before the chest is opened.

Me: Warden & Hunter
Sil: Runekeeper & Hunter

And I want my bonus roll!

Silirien
30 Mar 2009, 09:41
Memememe!
Probably as a HNT, Fey still lacks at least one radiance piece, but I would love to switch to RNK before opening the chest.

Beoras
30 Mar 2009, 10:10
My kinship's run on Wed has been canceled, so I could bring a captain (6/6), which would eventually free Joerg's hunter.

I'm not planning to roll for any drops, I'm here to learn the tactics :)

Joerg
30 Mar 2009, 10:40
Joerg's hunter still has 3/6 radiance pieces - so unless we do some HM runs till then I'd like to join as captain.

Hirion
30 Mar 2009, 10:41
Hirion reporting for duty.

Captain primary
(hunter secondary).

Grimdoin
30 Mar 2009, 11:39
Well you know where to find me should you need another hunter...

Silirien
30 Mar 2009, 12:08
Btw, I was thinking... I'm pretty sure WRD can tank the Watcher with his javelin, or at least one of the tentacles.. So I think Rhy could go as WRD anyway?

Rhyaehar
30 Mar 2009, 12:16
I'd have no problems tanking him with a Javelin. Trouble there would be the DPS. If the raid leader (evil grin) wants to take a chance, I'm up for it.

calabam
30 Mar 2009, 12:48
if your short , give me a shout bon

Valheru
30 Mar 2009, 12:59
I would be more than willing to join this raid if needed. Primary: Rune-Keeper Secondary: Rune-Keeper  Don't really play any of my other characters.

Dont mind trying, altho if it's not working out you might need to go back to hunter till he's down atleast anyway no problems with you changing back before we open the chest if thats teh case ofcourse , I dont know warden well enuff to say that you could generate enuff aggro with javlin alone, would probably need to give you a few cycles extra before we start to lay it on him but not unworkable I think/hope. :p

Rhyaehar
30 Mar 2009, 15:59
Actually, I nicked aggro off both Kalengtas and Evelynn on Dave yesterday, only with the use of the Javelin. Especially with the use of gambits that transfer threat on to me, I'm quite confident I can keep him on me.

Bearing in mind this is the last run we get at Mk 1, I'd vote for sticking with the tactics we know work. We'll be experimenting all over again as of next run anyway. I think we'd be better served by trying to get another successful run under our belts, for the confidence factor, & loot - that's another 10 radiance for two people to make things very slightly easier in future...

Haleabor
30 Mar 2009, 18:31
PS... I'd really like the Treasury Stone if it drops :)

Hal

Kunigunde
30 Mar 2009, 19:21
what Treasury Stone???
I´d like to come as Minstrel, as LM´s have a limited usefulness there

Primary LM, Secondary Minstrel

Question: thanks to some very much appreciated help yesterday's evening (you all know who you are!) Fey has 5/6 radiance now. Would there be a place she could fit in, or you much prefer me on Sil?

Aikanaron

You missed me on the reserve list. ;)

Would still love to come so if a spot opens up.. :)

Ack raed is right really, It would be better off sticking to what works for now. Im sure a Wrd could tank the watcher no bother but we are a bit lighter on dps from the last time and I wouldnt wanna muck it up for the rest just to test a theory, there will be lots of time to test Wrd's tanking abilities against him soon and Rk's will be getting their can of spinach with bk7 as well. I dont have a problem with anyone logging alts outside for the purpose of getting a coin but to keep things fair I expect those alts to be lvl60 and have at the least 5/6 set as well, also please inform me that you intend to do this before we start.

Silirien

As long as I can roll on stuff with Fey, I'm happy :)

asking alamar to remove my guard from the group , and replace me with a champ as , yous dont need two guards , aik or calbam would help more

Notiane
01 Apr 2009, 10:08
Seeing the over whelming response, maybe we should try to get 2 raids going pretty fast (after book 7 is released?) We have a good few alts to fill up spots, I for one am closing in with my captain ( lvl 58, no radiance as yet) and will be getting my minstrel there soon-ish (say a week or 2) and I know (Sil, Rhy, Raed amongst others) are already on that level. Maybe like we did in the Rift? One "we're gonna farm the Squid", and one with a more experimental approach?

Volunteering to get a decent mic & lead it then? ;) I'm expecting to do the RL for the turtle raid in Bk7, so I'm not volunteering. Plus there's also that to factor into the schedule...

Valheru

Hi

Could you please remove me as a reserve from this raid as I have a kinship run i need to attend at about the same time. Catch you guys on the next round.

Well the turtle is supposedly rediculously easy to beat, so no worries beyond telling the tanks what to do :)

Raedwulf
01 Apr 2009, 17:33
Yeah, I just saw a comment on the LOTRO forum that said it's just tank & spank. Bit bloody pointless. OK, I'm saving myself for the next proper raid... If one ever turns up... :(

Best of luck to you all tonight folks! At one moment I was almost about to suggest we did two groups tonight, but it seems we are not enough after all.

I'm only hovering on the reserve-bench and will be around tonight (disguised as Pellinor most likely), so if half the raid croaks give me a shout and I'll step right up.

was a interesting fight.. whit one big heal.
good work all.

bothorn
01 Apr 2009, 23:34
Accidents happen, its how we learn. It didnt stop us it just made the fight last longer as he was about half-way dead when he healed to full, overall tho good works folks.
We should be posting some more solid loot rules soon to remove any confusion as this fight dosent allow for the old style very well in my opionion anyhoo.

Anyway thanks to all those that signed up and I hope to see you there next time.

Well led yesterday and very calm (apart from the odd "you bugger" when Sid popped another tentacle quickly)

Thanks for taking me along for the ride

02 Apr 2009, 16:34
heh thanks hal, im fairly calm for the most part, the "buggers" and such where probably supposed to be filtered out but my thumb was clamped to my mouse at points holding the push to talk button in :p

Nobody gave me any reason to stress out tho as ye all worked well and kept your game faces on which is all I can ask for.
