Given the delay in Book 7 I thought I would organise another Helegrod Raid (seeing as I hate the Watcher!!)

Helegrod Raid - Friday 20th / Saturday 21st from 20:15 GMT

We'll try and kill as much as possible on Friday and then Thorog on Saturday

Happy with either high or low level alts above 49.

I would love to come both Friday and Saturday, buuuut I am on call, so if you'll have me, it'll be with the risk of me bolting out (only in case of a fire though - and Thorog's doesnt count). :lol:

I can preferably join on my captain (60), but secondarily as hunter (60) or thirdly as loremaster (51), minstrel (51) or burglar (51), depending on what's needed most.

as yesterdays try to get a group for 16th failed on the miserable side, im not gonna go watcher again before i get radiance from Lorien. DD seems to be a stroll when compared to 16th ;)

therefore i am going for Helegrod and having Fun with Haleabor. Definitely on Fr, prolly not on Sat as i am with friends that evening

Level 60 captain certainly available for Saturday and maybe for Friday, I will know more Thursday evening.

Last time I went to Helegrod with you guys I had to quit the raid due to a huge lag. Since then I moved (new ISP/connection), I have a better PC, so I shouldn't have any similar problems (seeing as I don't lag anywhere else in the game).

There you go, I'm over-aged, not available for sure, and potentially laggy - how could you say no to me? (I know, I'd make a lousy lawyer...)

UPDATE: It is likely I won't be able to make it tonight on time, due to some stupid work-related issues. Of course, don't wait for me, I have no idea when I will be able to log in. When I do, I will check if you have started already or not. As tomorrow is Saturday (thank God!), no work means I will be available for part 2.

If I'm honest I was hoping for a few more sign ups...maybe Helegrod is not as inspiring as it once was.

To add to the matter I may have to go out...

That's a pity. I don't know the place well, so was looking forward to it, but for the same reasons I dont know either whether we need to be a full raid with several level 60ies along?

P.S.: might have one or two persons in reserve, that might be pulled along.

While a nice idea, and impressive that we could succeed with a substantionally smaller group, it seems to be something to do when people are bored with the current content, to hark back to the good old days of pre-radiance runs and the time when only Thorog could do more than 10k damage in a single hit.

I'm always up for a trip down memory lane like this, but i suspect you'd have more luck getting a good Helegrod raid together sometime during book 7, but before book 8 - little new content, people will blast through it a bit quick and will be more in the mood for something different than radiance runs and two short one man raids with long locks on them, thats when McThingy should strike ;).
