I have a balrog lock on my minstrel, so if people want a chain link we can do balrog this week?

Tonight (March 11th), 20GMT

I really would like to kill the Balrog with my Captain, since this is one of the two still open quests I have (other is Watcher obviously).

When would fit most people? Today, tomorrow or wednesday?

And we need someone who can lead, but don't think that will be a problem. :)

Joerg

I would prefer today or tomorrow evening (19:30 GMT?).

Well since 16th hall Wednesday has been turned into this - if you should find yourself in need of a LM, champ or RK I'd be happy to troll (ups) along (want to get me a fancy title for one of these) .... with the guardian I'm admittedly somewhat less eager but if need calls .. ;)

I want to come but I have some serious negotiating to do first if I'm to stand any chance...so here's hoping :)

if level 53 char is allowed, i'd look at that sucker (if there are no particular prequests to do)

Joerg
11 Mar 2009, 16:23
There a quest to kill him, but you can pick that up on the way down or get it shared by another player (Evelynn still has it).

Haleabor

Preferred as minstrel ....

I guess minstrel would be great since I'm the only one atm. :)

Thank you for the successful run yesterday, now I need to kill the watcher to get rid of the last quest in my log. :)

Until the arrival of the next book that is *grins*
Yesterday also showed that just 'cause you are a troup of lvl 60s in mostly radiance gear the Balrog still has its challenges ...

Joerg
12 Mar 2009, 12:23
Very true in both cases.

Perhaps it would be better if we help the elf chick gain some levels and do some Moria hard mode instances with her as well, so that she gets some radiance armor pieces too.

It's a problem we've had several times. Because we clear instances repeatedly, we get complacent, forgetting we need to actually pay attention. Fortunately, we've shown that we can still do any instance, if we just set our mind to it.

I would vote for going back in to the Rift more regularly. There's some nice cosmetic drops in there. I want to complete the Rift set on my Warden for example (picture (http://pcmedia.ign.com/pc/image/article/910/910890/the-lord-of-the-rings-online-mines-of-moria-20080917113741255.jpg)), several of us want to get the chain link (and I want a few of those stacked to ease the pain of the Watcher's fight).

Joerg

Yes, I agree with Rhyaehar. I'd also like to get the rift armor set as a cosmetic set for my captain and would like to get the Eldgang rep up to kindred. So, I'm game to join any upcoming rift runs.

Aikanaron

Sure, I would love to go there more. :) I still want the Trophy of the Balrog in my yard for example. :)

i saw the champ rift set the other day and totally fell in love with it, so i'd go to the rift any day....and not only to get the set...but to check it out in the first place :)

Joerg

Here's a nice little page where you can have a look at all the sets.

...just a request, can we please make line-ups for those things again? So I know wheter I'm to log on or just go to sleep.

If we're going there regular again, thu, fri and sat nights are best for me, since I have to get up at 6 (5 UK) all other mornings. Anjo(burglar) would really like the rift helmet (coolest cosmetics in game if you ask me) and both Anjo and Aragdir could use the group excercise. Always able to go minstrel or LM, as always.
