Good Folk of The Alliance (& the rest of you),
But lately, I found this missive stuffed under my door. I cannot speak for whether others in my district of Thorin's Gate have received the same, but I offer it for your consideration. Who wrote it? A strange wight, I trow, for why push it under MY door, of all peoples, as you will see! Natheless, I give the fellow voice, and make of it what you would!

So say the Wardens. "Not so!" sez I! Have you seen the number of Ruffians, Reprobates, & Bad Apples around Here lately, eh? We've got Elves & Hobbits (remember those stories about the Burglur, eh? Who says they only robs dragons!) & some decidedly unsavoury looking Men too (never mind the Oddd, and I do mean Oddd, dwurf). There's that Rumwulf, or whatever his name is, fer a start! Always hanging around!!
Watchful? Watchful, my eye! Why, why, I'll give you but one example, as ter why!! I's a simple soul me. Hobbitses I cannae trust, & Elves just makes my skin crawl (as is only right), but of all those ne'er-do-wells I would not ever see, there be that Rhyehaer feller. He hangs around Here so Much, You'd think he Lived Here!!! And Who's ter keep Him Out, eh? That's what I wants to know!
If these Wardens be so watchful, why d'ye ne'er see but one eh? Now I know this be asking ye somewhats, for it be a Man of what I speaks, but I ask Ye natheless. I ask, no, I demand, and I asks yer to join me in the same, that we gets this Rhyaewald a-posted Here Permanently, and ithers like him Dammit! Ye cannot 'spect Him to do it All Alone (though why break theHabit of a Lifetime, I've heard some say). But there is this - whene'ver I have seen That Man upon the Watch, never have I seen that ne'er-do-well, that scallywag, ragamuffin, tatterdemalion caitiff Rhyehaer in the vicintiy.
Therefore, he be a good Warding, and others like him will no go amiss among our Rich and Diverse Comunit Cumoni Villages. And Even if he doesn't seem to be able to stop that Rumpwarp feller, well it's a start, I sez!!
