Hunter nerf in PvMP

In all their wisdom, Turbine has decided to do something with the endless stream om whines from creeps about Hunters hitting desperate flight. So, they made it out of combat. Yup, that's right. Our one and only survivability skill has been completely rendered useless.

'Bout time too. What Sulfy going to do now, eh? If it's only OOC in the moors, then you've nothing to complain about. If it's all over, then it just renders the skill utterly pointless (why would you DF OOC, except as an FT?).

Why? DF in the Moors isn't about survivability. It's about starhuggers, stat-watchers, & tossers like Sulf, protecting their precious ratings. As a Hunter, you have plenty of survivability anyway - you're usually at the back & anyone that wants to get to you has to come through everyone else first. No other class has a DF "get out of jail free" card. Even a Minstrel's Feign Death doesn't come close, cos usually a few creeps just stand above them till it runs out.

If defeat (& I detest being a cheap kill for anyone on either side, whatever alt I'm using) had some real meaning up there e.g. repair bills, there might be a genuine complaint to be made. As it stands, I think an unfair advantage for Hunters has simply been removed, without affecting anything else about their PvP capability.

You forget burglars, rediculous survability, especially as maps can be used from stealth

Well naturally, since I'm not one! ;) But frankly, they've ridiculous survivability anywhere due to HiPS. It only goes to prove they need a good nerf too! :P
