They had another dev chat yesterday.
If you don't want any spoilers, don't read any further. :+

Here is the full story: http://lotro.stratics.com/php-bin/show_content.php?content=29218

Nice new things. :)

Inventory problems are solved for a bit.
We will be getting keyrings and quest items will not be stored in your bags anymore.

None of the pre-Moria equipment is part of the Legendary Items system, so no the Rift and Helegrod armour can't be dismantled. All of the Legendary Items found in Moria can be dismantled for legacies as well as finding the Legacies themselves in loot.

And for the people with a lot of alts:

The Rune-keeper and the Warden will be introduced in Moria, and they are race-restricted. Two more character slots will be available :)

Looking forward to MoM. :Y

Yeah, we know. Not good enough. The point being that the people with a lot of alts mostly want to play ALL of the classes on the SAME server, instead of having to do it across separate servers. So it should have been 4 extra slots. I was tempted to drop into the dev chat last night to ask what the hell the problem was (especially since you can play all the creep classes on the same server), but I don't do IRC...

I find it very strange as well. I didn't know it was already confirmed.
Was there ever a reason why they only made 5 in the beginning?

zigzag - *Mich-666* hi, i would like to ask you if we get new inventory bag and/or new vault space and housing space in MoM. With all those decoration items, festival items and housing items, crafting items i have only few slots empty to gather new things...
Keth_Turbine - We have not been deaf to your inventory concerns, although we only focused on slimming down your personal inventory.
Keth_Turbine - Two new features showing up in Moria are "quest tokens" and key rings.
Keth_Turbine - The vast majority of items collected for quests will no longer be stored in your character's inventory.
Keth_Turbine - instead they will be "stored" in the quest journal. You will be able to track your progress there.
Keth_Turbine - A few items though will have to stay in your inventory, especially those that you interact with in some fashion, such as letters or items you are supposed to use at specific locations.
Keth_Turbine - as for the Key Rings, the majority of keys have been converted such that you "use" them to add them to your ring.
Keth_Turbine - from then on, any doors that require that key will open for you.
Keth_Turbine - this should open up, on average, at least 1 bag of inventory space for your character, if not more, in some cases.
Key rings! Woot!
Inventory near free of quest items! Woot!

Alt slots. What is with Hunters? Focus? Yeah, right. How come they can never focus on the important stuff... :p

Well morias focus is on 6man instances and theres also alot 3man. Vile Maw is raid lair that only has The Watcher and needs "Radiance"(hope) set that you get from doing 6man instances on hard mode. The Watcher is very hard and no1 has yet taken it down in beta.

just one raid at the moment.
and one boss.

I'm fairly sure that the current state of that particular encounter is such, that any additional bosses would just make people dread going in.

But... I don't like the idea of 6 man instances while there are 9 classes to choose from :/

In my opinion it would be stupid of Turbine to allow people in Beta to beat any new boss (don't know what happened in SOA beta). If I were them I would actually make it impossible to beat.

I agree with Sil that they have a history of nerfing stuff and i don't think they should do that with "live" content. Having said that (if you remember) Thorog 1.0 was easier than Thorog 2.0 (can't perma mezz drakes, hope wipes etc). So it's not all bad news

I am looking forward to a challenging but quick raid on a personal front because my time for 2-3 day runs will come to an end soon.

Hal :)

mayby that raid is just the start of new raids (whit those needed raid gear) what are coming in the future updates.
il hope;)

What you suggested was actually done by ArenaNet in one of Guild Wars expansion, one boss was never actually tested. The boss, before the nerf (which came months later, as ArenaNet never listens to players...) was unbeatable without using exploits.

So no, bosses must be tested...

And Berry, what's stealing you away from us?

Couldn't agree more with the first para. As to the second, it'll be some while before there are 9 classes to choose from - those new classes will need to be levelled first. I daresay there'll be some Achievers intent on levelling ASAP, if only so they can feed their egos & boast; but unless an RRU member decides to simply ignore their existing alts, it'll be a month or two before we've L60 RNKs & WDNs running around with us.

Our plan is to launch at least one more large scale raid with 6 bosses in our next major update, as well as some supporting instances. (Subject to change, quid pro quo, addendum, asterisk, asterisk)"
