Just posted something a bit silly and I thought I'd to a poll for a bit of fun:

I like the unusual ones more than the popular 'Memorise this 40 button combo to make the screen explode' style of fighting game. Although saying that I am quite keen on Soul Calibur, but my favourite fighting games would have to be Smash Bros. Melee or Little Fighters 2 (rediculouly fun when played with a friend online, moreso when drinking is involved :))

Of course I realised that I missed Mortal Kombat....plus loads of other weird ones....

So many reasons for so many games...picked Virtua Fighter, as it was the first "3-dimensional" fighter game (that I encountered)

I went for Street Fighter since it's the classic altho I loved the old original Soul Calibur on the PS2 called Soul Blade. Also altho it's not listed since it's not exactly the same type of game but Streets of Rage1,2 are the best games involving hitting ppl _O_

Streets of Rage .... "Fun-Duck-Pa" .... uppercut...love it...we used to pull off the move just to hear the soundbite :)
