Battlegrounds

Not sure if anyone has done this yet, but I would like to get a group together to give one or more of these battles a shot on Thursday at about 7:30 GMT. Post a comment if you're interested.

Note: As this is technically meant to be done after book 14, anyone who plans on coming, but has yet to finish the book should be prepared for spoilers

Like pvmp, you just get a couple of dozens of NPCs in wave after wave attacking a certain strongpoint, such as Aughaire.

Cool. Ang then probably, since he's still on raiding set-up (i.e. max group assist, rather than damage, though I'll probably switch Dunadan Learning (1m anti-stun) back out).

Warning - vague details follow, ye have been warned :P

Sorry about not providing many details about the battlegrounds, partly because i only know bits and pieces about them and also because i'm fervently against spoiling content for others. Suffice to say, theres a lot of continuous fighting and a lot of adhoc tactics required (of which i know sod all, as thats half the fun ;)). Expect a run to take about 40 minutes to an hour with seemingly random rewards, some of which appear to be very nice. As of checking last night; 32 groups had successfully finished the first battle, 12 had completed the second and the third remained locked (likely due to the first two not being finished enough times yet as they form a story of sorts).

Anyway, sounds like it could be a good challenge and a lot of fun, which is all i need to know

well i don't know what happened in the maintenenace patch, but its seemingly screwed up my client completely, takes over 10 minutes to log on and then i had no access to custom channels, so appologies about any delays...
