Is NOT happening!
Rhyaehar is on holiday. Joerg & I talked it over last night. He would rather get some time & practice in on the Annuminas instances, which he also regards as being a good practice ground for Raid Training (& I agree). Since I'm due to be running an Off- raid next week, in Hal's absence, I really don't fancy Leading Rift raids for 6 days on the trot! :N
So there's no Rift raid this week-end. What you can do instead is use this thread to sign up for Annuminas on Fri - Sun. Please put yourself down as either "General", if you don't care which instances you do, or name the instances you're interested in. We usually get 15-20 sign-ups minimum for a Rift raid, so hopefully we can put together 3 or more seperate groups each day.
I'll add a header of sign-ups & classes under this spiel as people sign up, and co-ordinate things. However, please note that I am no Annuminas expert. That doesn't stop me leading of course - and if we're all inexperienced going in, we'll soon find out just how good we are as players - but we'll see who we've got on the day & work out who wants to be in charge of what. I can always form us into groups in a raid, & once people are happy with the balance, we can split it into individual fellowships. Lastly, please read the Raid Training guide, particularly the sections on communication & FSMs, because you can expect to be practicing this stuff!

I can do Friday definitely, possibly do Sunday but won't know until the day. Don't care which instances but preferably with Tiermond.

Sure, i'm up for an annuminas run, would like to pick up Doranc from Ost Elendil (assuming it drops of course) so that would be my preffered instance preferebly with no-one else who wants it ;)
I don't mind which place we do, although i'm fairly fed up of glinghant as its the only place i've run for about 9 runs now... so would prefer one of the others

Well considering how well the run on Ost Elendil went the other night, i'm happy to take some more groups back any day this week if there is enough interest.
I really would like that, how about tonight?

Count me in. Enthusiasm was lacking for this w/e or the Off- Farm... Do I bother setting up a Regular for this coming w/e?

Tonight sounds good, if we get enough interest then we can give it a shot. Just remember that my mic is really bad, so i'll probably be typing instead, although once we've gone over the core tactics, its just about being observant in the fights as to what is going on.
As flexible as i usually am about class distributions, given the difficulty of the annuminas instances in general, for Ost Elendil i consider a minstrel and champ to be the core classes with a LM also highly recommended (although a skilled burg could replace the LM, but as the two classes usually stun different enemies, they typically don't overlap when are both present anyway). A class that can offer backup healing is also advisable for reasons i'll get into later. As always, a guardian is helpful, they just have a slight issue of generating too much aggro during the first part ;)

Sorry to all who i disappointed last night, my internet connection dies at even the suggestion of thunder, which kept me offline for half an hour, by the time i came back on, the group had disbanded
I'll be around to gather another group tonight for Ost Elendil in Annuminas, the aim is to set off at about 8:00 GMT and i imagine i'll be online sometime before this, so if you're interested, either send me a tell or post a message here.
Anyway, sorry again to those i let down, i'll be sure to make it up to you if you come back for another shot :)

There should be laws about MMO's and internet! Well, one can't control the weather, and life is what happens while you're making other plans. I'll be there,if only to see what life throws our way this time :)

A very successful run, good job to all who took part :)
As its quite a rewarding and fun instance (and not at all because my shoulders haven't dropped ;)) i'll be up for leading groups back through the place any day this week. Usual deal; post back here if you're interested for a confirmed spot, or try your luck and message me when i turn up (about 8:00 GMT). As long as we have a champ and a burg/LM all classes are welcome.
