This is it, the culmination of weeks of work. We've intercepted messages, battled through scores of brigands and killed 20 boars (no-one really knows why, there are just always boars) and here we stand; justice awaits us at the end of this encampment.

Simple men and women from Combe, having been pushed beyond their limits by the local bandits have been biding their time. Powerless by themselves with little knowledge of the ways of battle, they sought out any travellers that could aid them in their quest for freedom. Two weeks ago they chanced on such a man at the metalsmith selling off trinkets and scabbards, keepsakes from the very bandits they intended to fight. They approached him and he agreed to help.

It all seems like a blur in hindsight. Events unfolded at a remarkable speed and they found themselves on the outskirts of the key encampment. Messengers were slain, sentries questioned, scouts followed...it had all led to this moment. The young man gripped his sword tightly. The battle that rested ahead would effect the lives of hundreds. Would honour and justice prevail, or was the coming shadow too much to bare? Eyes focused on the tent ahead, he steadied his nerves. Now was not the time to give it to such foolish thoughts, now was the time to undo the countless evils and atrocities commited, time to...

*Ding!*

Random cursing can be heard in the background. The young man heads to the back of the group to find out the source of the commotion.

Townsperson: Whats wrong master Burglar? Are you injured?

Burglar: No...i levelled off that last mob...

Townsperson: I beg your pardon, but i don't quite follow what you're saying; you seem unharmed, weapons and armour intac-

Burglar: The quest just went grey, not worth doing any more. Well, i'm off then, its been a blast.

Townsperson: What?! But...we're mere moments away from the leader of the ruffians! We can end the smuggling operation, restore peace and ord-

Burglar: Aren't you listening? The. Quest. Is. Grey. No-one does grey quests! You get more XP from killing conies!

Townsperson: Ecks pea? I am not well versed in the goods of farmers, but I...I.. can offer you this s-sword. Its a family heirloom, passed down from father to son in my family for over t-t...t-twelve generations. This blade is all my ancestor took with him as he entered these lands. It has seen much in its long years and is all the stronger for it! It means more to me than anything, but i would g-gladly offer it up if it meant freedom from these brutes!

Burglar: Meh, this dagger i was given by the local chef for collecting bear meat has more DPS, i mean its common damage, hardly anything special.

*sobbing can be heard faintly in the background a man mutters the name Lillian*

Townsperson: Did you forget that Gilbert's sister is still in there?! We all fear what she has been forced to endure these long weeks. He promised his father on his deathbed that she would be saved. You delivered the message yourself! Don't you remember his passionate plea?

Burglar: Wait....you have names!?! I've just been calling you all Townsperson for days now! Anyway, i'll be leaving now. Good luck with the rescue.

Townsperson: Wait! Stop!!! Where are you going!?

Burglar: Oh, i'll be over in that field singing to trees.

*Just stands there, mouth wide open*
