My fioncee is now 14 days from the date set to give birth, I'm gonna be a dad (again) :)
She is now what I call "very pregnant" and the birth can happen any day. In fact we thought Monday morning that it had, but it then stopped and she could go back to bed at 7am after being up all night.
This kinda influences my schedules, needless to say I'm a bit focused on this. I still get around to play and do whatever I do, but sometimes I find myself suddenly going afk because she wants to rearrange the furniture or sends me to the store to buy something and stuff. Those of you with kids might relate to my situation.
So I'm gonna lay low on signing up for raids or groups the next 2-4 weeks. I can probably jump in as a reserve or something if I'm around, but lets see what comes up. Don't want to promise things I can't live up to.
Just want to let you know what's going on, not loosing interest, just got stuff happening here :)

Spending time with the family or slaying orcs. Priorities man! Think of the hobbits! ;)

Congratulations on the growth of the family, no worries about doing stuff with us for the next few weeks, you obviously have more important battles to fight against much tougher foes (ones who fight low and wake you up at 3am :P).

Take care and have fun with the family, we'll still be here when you get back. Probably. Maybe. :)

I wish you and your fiance the very best for the upcoming joyous event!
I hope everything goes well and the lil one will be healthy and prospering :)

hehe, I know exactly what you mean mate, enjoy!
(oh, and don't expect to be fully operational within weeks either, the "very pregnant" stage lingers on a while after birth ;))

Says the man who's never around himself! :P

Mind you, I'm shocked. I had Baro down as a mouthy 14 year old. Two kids now already (or soon)?! He started early

;)

Make the most of it. They'll be trashing everything you own before you know it. Luck! ;)

They start at 12 these days, didn't you know? :P

Yes, I'm never around. I'm bored with the game.

Thanx guys :)

I'm actually 35, I have a 5- yearold son from a previous relationship and I'm just as excited this time anyway :O

My uncertain schedule seems to even make me able to play more, but I'm on alert all the time. Had to run out last night and get some snacks for her he he. But as Grimbos indicates, you never know. And it's not over when the baby arrives, so bear with me...

Tell me, in hobbit families how do you distinguish between pregnancy and just having had an acceptable ellevensies?

Best of luck Baro, may your offspring live long and prosper - (and learn to play computers as well as letting daddy play).

Hobbitses never suffer from indigestion. Therefore if she's throwing up, it's morning sickness, and if she's screaming, she's giving birth!
