The Ebb and Flow of River Nimrodel
I will be picking up all Emblems of Nimrodel and in terms of winning First Age Items the Filikul Rumbles are now divided into 'Cycles'. Each cycle consists of the Rumbles it takes untill I have enough Nimrodels on at least one of my characters to barter a level 60 First Age Item. These Cycles run in increments of 5 raids (5, 10, or even 15) - that is I will only do book-keeping and award First Age Items after we have done all 5 raids on a given night and only if then finding myself with 6+ Emblems of Nimrodel on at least one of my characters. In practical terms a Cycle is thus expected to be 1-2 weeks.
During a Cycle every raid participant will do a roll after each individual raid. I will keep a High Roller List of the 10 highest rolls across all raids. Each player will have one spot on the list at most. Participating in several raids does not make you able to win more First Age Items in a Cycle - it merely adds your highest roll across the raids, adding to your odds of winning one item when the Cycle comes to an end.
A Cycle comes to its end when, after a night of 5 raids, I find myself able to barter for at least one level 60 First Age item. I will then offer a First Age Item to as many people as possible, starting from the top of the High Roller List. Being on the list is merely a potential of winning a First Age - in most Cycles only the top few will actually win one. When this has been organised I will reset the list and the next Cycle will begin.
The rolls in every raid in a given Cycle are affected by past history of winning or loosing. The base roll as we start out, or for newcomers joining us later, will be /roll 100. Players who have won a First Age Item earlier will start over on a /roll 80 when the next Cycle begins. Another 20 will be added to your roll for each Cycle that you did not win a First Age Item, making it /roll 120, /roll 140 etc., in subsequent Cycles, with the maximum being /roll 200. These cumulating 20 will only be added if you actually participated fully in the Cycle, and not just from sitting out.
Finally The First Age item will be a level 60 of the players choice. IF the player should decide on a level 59 it will be greatly appreciated, and the following Cycle the player will be allowed to start on a /roll 90 rather than a /roll 80. However choosing a level 59 might not make more people win a First Age in that given Cycle -remember that the Nimrodels are spread across my characters- but it will at least add to the chances that the next First Age Item will be available faster.

But what of other loot on the individual raids?
Armour Coins, settings, IXP runes, Second Age Items, mithril flakes, shields, recipes, decorations, etc., are all rolled on separate from the roll on Nimrodel bartered First Age Items described above.
We will first roll on Armour Coins, then roll on Legendary Items, and finally do a single roll on all remaining loot, the highest roller picking first and so forth. A winner is not allowed to cross-endorse loot to another raid member (but is certainly free to give it away after the raid is done), but passing or selecting less desireable loot as a curtesy to the rollers next in line is always appreciated.
First Age Items dropping directly as loot from the box in Filikul will be solved case-by-case by the raid leader. If found to be of genuine value they will be taken by the raid leader and held untill a High Roller requests such an item at the end of a Cycle. If found to be of lesser value, that is the focus of much less interest than a bartered First Age Item, it will be distributed with the rest of the loot on that given run, a lucky boon to those on that given raid.
There will no longer be a signup for rolling on specific classes. Legendary Items will be offered first to those on that class on that run, if there are none of said class or if they pass, these items will be added to the general loot. This is done both for ease and with regard to all valuable First Age Items now being added to the High Roller choices instead.
Though comments are welcome I ask you to add them in the running discussion thread here (http://www.raidsrus.com/forum/showthread.php?t=980).
