Registering with the server

Registering an account on the server will give you only one advantage. If I see a need to change the server password, you will not have to look it up. Registered users will log on using their username and password, anonymous users log on using the server password.

The image to the right shows you the Register Dialog, which can be found through the "Self" menu in TS. The dialog is pretty self-evident. The only thing I request is that you use your forum name. It just makes managing the server easier for me.

Altering your Connect address book

You can edit the server you have made in the earlier stage. The only thing you really need to change is the radio button "Registered". This will display the Login Name field. This corresponds to the login name you entered during the registration process.

Once done, press connect. You should see yourself back in the server. If you've done it correctly, you should see an (R) behind your name, like on the right. Mind you, the SA you see there will not appear.
