Connecting to the RRU server
Connecting to the RRU server
Now that we have TeamSpeak installed and the Raids'R'Us TS details at hand, we can continue to the important bit; connecting.
Using Quick Connect
Have a look at the image to the right. This is the Quick Connect dialog of TeamSpeak. You can find it under the Connect menu while you are not connected to a server. It's quite obvious what you have to do, just by looking at it.
- Server Address:
Fill the IP address and port of the Raids'R'Us TS server. - Nickname:
This is the name under which you will be shown on the server. Please use your forum name. - Login name:
Leave this blank. It's only useful if you have a login name (which you don't if you connect for the first time). - Password:
The server password.
Now, assuming you've done everything correct, hitting the connect button will connect you to the TeamSpeak server. Using Quick Connect is nice for the first time. For the second, third and fourth connect (especially when you also connect to other servers from time to time) storing the connection on your computer is a lot easier.

Using normal Connect
If you are one of those people who have more TeamSpeak servers in your address book, Connect is your friend. This allows you to store connection details per server, so that you're only a click away. Have a look at the image below.
Adding a new server is very easy. Right-click on the big area on the left and click "Add server". Name it Raids'R'Us or anything you like. The rest of the fields should be quite obvious.
